What a weekend getaway...
I am lucky to have such talented and fabulous friends. We get to do a lot of the shows together and it really makes it fun. This Easter weekend we all spent together in Catalina, enjoying the warm sun and beautiful view of the ocean. Dan is a wonderful cook and made dinner both nights for everyone. It couldn't have been a better way to end the day with a wonderful meal and great friends!!!

Crystal and John

Congratulations to our sweet Crystal and her husband John. We are a little late posting this but better than never. They were married in Griffith Park, March 4th 2011. We are so happy for them, and wish them both the very best!!
Crystal is our on the road gal! If you catch us at any art show you probably had the pleasure of meeting Crystal. She is a very talented metal smith and jewelry maker as well!! We are lucky to have such talented and hardworking team members.

We are shipping out for Easter weekend on Catalina Island!! Packing up is a bit interesting cause everything has to fit on one dolly for the boat ride over. Thankfully Dan is getting really efficient after the third or fourth time over.

Rockie the Silver Spoon Mascot

Meet Rockie, our Silver Spoon mascot! He is a very nice person and is extra special to us! Four years ago, Rockie wandered into Jennifer's yard and into our hearts. We love this little "Rock Monster," and he brings us cheer daily in our studio!

Photoshoot for Our Upcoming Catalog

Today's photoshoot for our 2011-2012 catalog went extremely well, thanks to our multi-talented photographer, Rachel! Blessed with a creative eye and a charming personality, Rachel has helped developed Silver Spoon's blossoming website, blog, and catalog. Her knack for all things vintage and crafty compliments the Silver Spoon image. Thank you Rachel for all your hard work, and for always bringing joy to our team!!

A new look for 2011

If you didn't notice we rolled out a new look for the Web site and blog!!

Hopefully it will not only look more romantic, but will be better to shop from as well. Some of the new features are alternate views of each design, to help get the proper scale of each piece. You can share items you have fallen in love with on facebook, tell a friend or email a little hit to your loved one for that upcoming birthday or anniversary.
