We’re ramping up our charitable donations this year at
Silver Spoon! Every October we donate 10% of the sales of our Awareness Ribbon
necklace to the American Cancer Society. And this week some of our awesome
office staff decided to take it a step further and donate their own hair!
Mikki, our very talented graphic designer, and Dora, our
awesome accountant, both recently chopped off their gorgeous hair so that they
could donate it to Pantene
Beautiful Lengths. Gina, assembler extraordinaire, even got her kids
involved and sent her daughter’s hair today.
Pantene Beautiful Lengths is one of two organizations that
partners with the American Cancer
Society to provide wigs for women fighting cancer. The Beautiful Lengths
program was started in July 2006 and has since donated over 24,000 free
real-hair wigs to the American Cancer Society’s wig banks.
We’re so excited that Mikki, Dora, and Gina get to be a part
of this amazing cause that we just have to share.
